About The Bead Booth

Picture
Three years ago was when The Bead Booth started. I was up late one night looking at pictures of homeless people. It broke my heart seeing how bad the homeless had it. So I decided to help out. I decided to sell bracelets and then after selling them I would donate all money to a homeless shelter. The very next day, I talked with my school counciler about selling bracelets to help the homeless and she thought it was a great idea. We set up a date to start selling bracelets during lunch. My friends helped me sell all the bracelets. It was so much fun selling bracelets. After two weeks of hard work and selling bracelets, my friends and I raised over 100 dollars. We were so proud and happy to help out. Then my school set up a time for me to meet with a nice lady who worked at a homeless shelter so I could give her the money my friends and I raised. She was so greatful. Ever since the first year of helping the homeless, The Bead Booth has been a success. I love helping out every year and its so much fun making jewlery to sell. Now I dont only sell bracelets. I sell all kinds of jewlery including rings, anklets and necklaces for $1.00. I love helping out and I am pround to do it every year!
